Step By Step Pictures
Here are some pictures showing you how I made these sweet glazed carrots. I will also include some tips and answer some questions, too.
Use Full-Sized Carrots
You can also make them with full-sized carrots, too. Just peel the carrots and chop them into 1-inch pieces. That takes more time, but it will still taste just as good.
Serve With Your Favorite Entree
Honestly, just about anything! However, we do love serving them with:
- Steak (especially a nice, tender cut like filet mignon)
- Pork chops (be sure to check out some of our pork recipes!)
- Shepherd’s pie
- Meatloaf
- Turkey
How To Store Leftovers
Leftover glazed baby carrots can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
How To Reheat Leftovers
These carrots microwave pretty well, so we suggest microwaving them until steaming hot. You can also reheat them on the stove top by mixing in 2 tbsp of water and an extra tablespoon of brown sugar, and an extra tablespoon of honey and mixing until steaming.
What makes this recipe so successful is that it’s just so easy to make!
Just a few simple ingredients and steps and you will have a wonderful sweet baby carrot dish that is perfect for any meal, to bring to a pot luck, or for special occasions.
It’s just that good.

SERVINGS
Equipment
- Medium Size Pot
Ingredients
- 1 package of baby carrots 16oz
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup water
Instructions
- Place carrots in a medium sized pot and add water. Bring to boil then let simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Drain any water that remains and add butter, honey and brown sugar to carrots. Mix well and heat on low for another 5-10 minutes until carrots are tender.
You can also remove the honey and use pure maple syrup from Canada if you wish (best maple you can get), however maple has a more potent taste to honey, so only 1 tablespoon, 2 if you love maple syrup 🙂
I am going to have this tonight with baked cod coated in salt and vinegar potatoe chips.
