Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp butter

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Next, add the wet ingredients into the bowl: egg, milk, vanilla and oil. Mix together thoroughly and allow the batter to sit and rest for about 10 minutes
  • Add butter to a non-stick pan and allow to melt over medium heat.
  • Add pancake batter to the heated pan, making each pancake about 4 inches in diameter.
  • When the pancake starts to pop bubbles, flip over and cook on the other side for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve and top with your favorite pancake garnishes.
