Ingredients

  • 1 pound sweet potatoes or 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Peel and cube your sweet potatoes. Add to a saucepan or pot of boiling water. Allow to boil for about 20 minutes or until potatoes become very tender with a fork.
  • Use a strainer to drain the potatoes and place back into the saucepan.
  • Mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
  • Add butter and whole milk. Mix until butter is melted and well-incorporated.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
