You know how it goes… I’m in love with love! Valentine’s Day is one of my all-time favourite holidays. I mean, it’s pretty obvious, isn’t it?
This year I went all out with my Valentine-themed recipes and crafts. I mean, who can forget my Red Velvet Waffles? Plus, my super cute Toilet Paper Roll Love Bug craft was a hit with my little one.

Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Dessert
With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, I couldn’t help but whip-up a last-minute Valentine’s Day treat. I thought long and hard of what I could do. Then, I turned to my trusty Kana skillet and made Valentine Dessert Nachos.
Yes, you read right: dessert nachos.

Dessert Nachos: The Ultimate Skillet Dessert
When most people think of skillets, they imagine frittatas, pastas, and many “one pot” recipes – but I’ve been going on a sweeter route. Today, I’m going to show you a brand new dessert on my recipe roster: Dessert Nachos. They make for the perfect skillet recipe.

My Valentine Dessert Nachos need to be baked in a 400 degree Fahrenheit oven. Use a skillet that can withstand up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I prefer cast iron!
Topping Ideas
This is the fun part. You get to add whatever candies and sweet treats that you want on top of the dessert nachos.
Have you ever been to a frozen yogurt bar? Well, it’s kind of like that.
Here are a few of my favorite things to add to a dessert nacho:
- Chocolate Chips
- Marshmallows
- Coconut Flakes
- Dried Fruit
- Crushed Chocolate Candies
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce

With my Dessert Nachos recipe, you can imagine how sticky my skillet can get. I mean, melted marshmallows and chocolate aren’t exactly a mess-friendly combination. Remember how I mentioned that Kana skillets were easy to maintain? You can stick them right in the dishwasher. No seasoning or complicated care rituals to upkeep these beautiful pieces!
Can You Make Them Ahead Of Time?
No, I don’t recommend trying to make the dessert nachos ahead of time. The best way to eat them is when they are fresh out of the oven.
This way, the chocolate and toppings are perfectly gooey and melted. If you let them set too long, they will solidify, and it’s a lot more difficult to eat.
