When the warmer months come along, I am ALL about some good fruit. My husband and I love stocking our kitchen with the season’s best fruit. It’s our way of encouraging our little ones to eat more of it! We firmly believe that the more you see it, the more you’ll gravitate towards it!
This is why recently, I whipped up a delicious Summer Fruit Salad. We were ready to do a grocery run and purchase more fruit, so I took what we had leftover to make this delicious fruit salad. One thing’s for sure: no regrets, whatsoever. It turned out delicious!

Summer Fruit Salad Tips
Does This Summer Fruit Salad Only Contain Berries?
Absolutely not! What I love about whipping up fruit salads is that you can use whatever you have at home – however, strawberries and blueberries truly do take the spotlight in this recipe (since they’re SO in season), and that’s what makes it a berry-inclined fruit salad. The taste of strawberries especially stand out!
Can I Use Fresh Lime Juice?
Absolutely! You can use either one. We opted for store-bought lime juice, but feel free to squeeze 2 to 3 limes to get the right amount of juice for this recipe.

Are There Any Other Fruit Alternatives?
Absolutely! Like we mentioned, fruit salads are so versatile, so we encourage you to use what you already have in your kitchen. We went for season-friendly fruits, which is why there are a lot of berries in the mix! The result? An ultra juicy, ultra sweet fruit salad!
Can I Store Leftovers?
Absolutely! You can add this Summer Fruit Salad to an airtight food container and refrigerate for up to 5 days! I actually find the more it marinates in its brown sugar lime sauce, the better it tastes!
