I highly recommend that you try this surefire recipe for Bisquick Dumplings in your favorite stew. We put ours on a vegetable stew, but feel free to get totally creative with it!

It’s amazing to see what a simple box of Bisquick can make. All it takes is two cups and some milk to make a quick, hearty and delicious meal.

Don’t Overmix

You’ll see this tip time and time again (especially when you’re looking up all sorts of recipes for dumplings), but do not overmix your batter. This will assure that your dumplings come out just right with the perfect consistency!

Easy Bisquick Dumplings

Ingredients

  • Your favorite stew
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2/3 cups milk

Instructions

  • Allow your favorite stew to heat in a big pot (it should already be fully cooked) on a hot stove.
  • In a bowl, mix together Bisquick and milk. Do not over-mix.
  • Use two spoons to drop mounds of the Bisquick mix into the pot of stew. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
  • Cover the pot and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
