It’s amazing to see what a simple box of Bisquick can make. All it takes is two cups and some milk to make a quick, hearty and delicious meal.
You’ll see this tip time and time again (especially when you’re looking up all sorts of recipes for dumplings), but do not overmix your batter. This will assure that your dumplings come out just right with the perfect consistency!

Feel free to use water instead of milk for the dumplings mixture. Of course, this will yield in a drier consistency for the dumplings.

Easy Bisquick Dumplings
- Your favorite stew
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cups milk
- Allow your favorite stew to heat in a big pot (it should already be fully cooked) on a hot stove.
- In a bowl, mix together Bisquick and milk. Do not over-mix.
- Use two spoons to drop mounds of the Bisquick mix into the pot of stew. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Cover the pot and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve.
