How To Make It

Make Syrup On The Stove
While it’s totally fine to use clear corn syrup, I recommend making the syrup on the stove. You’ll notice a huge difference in how it tastes. And making syrup is so easy. You just simmer some sugar and water on the stove. That’s it!
Squeeze Lemons By Hand
The best and easiest way to squeeze a lemon is with a lemon squeezer, but if you don’t have one, doing so by hand is just as good! Make sure you roll out your lemon, and we advise using some sort of strainer on top of your bowl/pitcher to ensure that none of the seeds make it into your lemonade!
Alternatively, people have successfully used tongs for the same effect.
Garnish With More Lemons
Buy extra lemons and add them to the pitcher and your glass of lemonade as a garnish. Not only do the lemon slices add more flavor, but they make the lemonade look better, too.
Lemonade Flavor Ideas
Want to step it up a notch? Feel free to add some additional flavor to your lemonade. Lemonade is actually a great base for your own customized drink:
- A drop or two of grenadine syrup
- A splash of sparkling water for some fizz
- Lime for a fun flavor profile
- Orange slices for more sweetness
…the sky’s the limit!
You can also replace the 4 cups of cold water with cold club soda for a delicious carbonated drink.
