The best hot cocoa recipe.

How To Melt Chocolate Chips

I’ve heard of people melting chocolate chips in the microwave, but that isn’t the best way. The best way is to use a double broiler.

If you don’t have a double broiler, then melt the chocolate chips over low heat so they don’t scald – and keep stirring constantly too.

Make It Keto-Friendly

This is really easy to make sugar-free and keto-friendly. All you have to do is use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk. Then, use Lily’s dark chocolate chips. They are sugar-free and fit perfectly in a keto lifestyle.

The best thing about this recipe is that you don’t have to pour it over milk since you are mixing the milk into the saucepan.

Optional Fun Toppings

Have fun with your hot cocoa! Add your favorite mix-ins or toppings. Here are a few ideas if you need them.

How To Give It As A Foodie Gift

If you want to give this as a foodie gift, then put together a gift basket with the following items:

That’s it! It makes a really thoughtful homemade gift. Homemade hot chocolate gift baskets are very popular and anyone that loves chocolate will enjoy this gift.
