I was once notorious for frequently spending tremendous amounts of money at my favorite coffee shops (well, according to my husband, at least), so that’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. Why not start making drinks at home?

In the summer months, there’s nothing I love more than a sparkling sweet drink! This Summer Berry Refresher is absolutely delicious, and really reminds me of the refreshers you can pick up at Starbucks. Safe to say, I’m pretty proud to have recently whipped-up this Starbucks copycat drink.
Serve this with a summer fruit salad for the perfect little snack.

Summer Berry Refresher Tips
Use a Plastic Pitcher
Now, this is just personal preference, but with kids at home (especially during summer vacation!) things can get chaotic. I tend to mix my drinks in a plastic pitcher rather than a glass one in case any “oopsy-daisy” accidents occur. It’s always easier to mop-up spilled drinks than shards of glass from a glass pitcher.

Can’t Find Freeze-Dried Strawberries? No Problem!
I was actually ecstatic to find freeze-dried strawberries at my local grocery store. I sometimes find it difficult to find. However, if you’re in a bind, you can substitute the freeze dried strawberries with chopped-up fresh strawberries.
Use Ready-Made Lemonade
When it comes to mocktails/refreshers like this one, I love opting for ready-made as much as possible. Here at Easy Recipe Depot, we’re all about an easy solution, and in this case, store-bought lemonade makes it so much more simple to whip-up.

Chill the Sparkling Water and Lemonade
Even though ice is incorporated into this drink, it’s always best to used chilled water and lemonade. The best part about refreshers is that they’re… well… refreshing! You want your beverage to be cold as possible! That’s what summer’s all about!
Keep Leftover Lemonade
Don’t forget that we have a Sparkling Cherry Lemonade that can be used with any leftover lemonade or sparkling water that you may end up with! Remember: it’s all about saving those buckeroos when you can, and we love the idea of being able to use ingredients for multiple recipes!
