How’s it going, foodie friends? Lisa here, reporting for recipe duty. You might know me from my food party blog, Sugar Agenda, where we believe that delicious food is always worth celebrating. When I’m not partying, I’m busy cooking for my family and today, I’m thrilled to share with you a delicious breakfast that you can make in minutes!
As a mom of two, our mornings are incredibly hectic (to say the least)! My husband leaves quite early for work, so I’m a one-man show when it comes to getting ready for school. Despite our crazy mornings, I always strive to serve delicious breakfasts, and my air fryer has been a game changer.
My Air Fryer Egg Toast is my most recent discovery, and we love them! They resemble the classic “Eggs in a Basket” but are so much easier to put together.

Make an Indent Rather Than a Hole
Most recipes for eggs in a basket call for a hole in the bread (and the hole is where you would crack the egg). However, for my Air Fryer Egg Toast, you will want to create an indent rather than a hole. This gives the egg a little “basket” to sit in and prevents making a mess in your air fryer.

To make the indent in your bread, you must take a mason jar and push the mouth slightly into the center of the bread. Then, use the back of a spoon and push down to create even more of an indent within the circle.
