M&M Cookies Tips
The entire recipe is in the printable recipe card at the bottom of this post. First, I have some tips that will help you make the most amazing cookies the first time.
Use Seasonal M&Ms
I used regular M&Ms, but these cookies will taste (and look) amazing with any of these options:
- Orange and White candies for fall
- Espresso Dark Chocolate
- Red & Green candies for winter/holidays
- Red, White, Pink for Valentine’s Day
- Green and White for Saint Patrick’s Day
Drizzle Them With Chocolate
For a little extra taste and design, drizzle some white or milk chocolate on top. You could even melt the chocolate and dip the cookies into the chocolate. Talk about delicious!
Make Ice Cream Sandwiches
Allow your favorite flavor of ice cream to soften a bit and then add a little scoop of it in between two cookies. It’s delicious all year long, even in the winter!
If you want to make it taste more like hot chocolate, use whipped cream instead of ice cream.
Freeze The Cookies
These cookies are freezer-friendly! Freezing the cookies will help them last longer. Freeze the cookies for up to six months.
To freeze them, place them on a baking sheet in a single layer. (Add some parchment paper to the baking sheet first). Then freeze the cookies for an hour or two. Once they are completely frozen, remove the cookies and put them in a freezer-safe resealable food storage bag.
