How many pieces of bacon fit on a George Foreman grill?
Depending on which Foreman Grill you have, the number of slices you can make at one time varies.
Larger Foreman Grills will generally have the room for 4-8 slices per batch.
Do you have to flip bacon on the George Foreman grill?
Since bacon is a pretty thin slice of meat, you will have to flip it over halfway through cooking. The top plate doesn’t always make enough contact to completely cook the bacon on both sides at one time.
How long does it take bacon to cook on the George Foreman?
It takes about 5 minutes per side to cook the bacon this way.
This is perfect if you’re making a quick breakfast for two. Another awesome benefit is that it frees up the stovetop and is one less pan you need to wash.
Bacon isn’t just for breakfast either.
For salads, sandwiches, and any time you need a couple of quick slices of bacon cooked up, this is the absolute perfect method.
Your Foreman Grill really is the perfect kitchen appliance for making bacon. Give it a try!

- 2 pieces Bacon lean thick cut
- Preheat your George Foreman Grill with the lid closed for at least 5 minutes. This is an important step.
- Add bacon slices and close the lid. Let grill for 5 minutes and flip the slices over. Yes, you will flip them. This assures nice even cooking on both sides as the top grill plate doesn’t always make perfect contact with the bacon. Cook for another 5 minutes.
