Potato Wedges Vs French Fries

What’s the difference between potato wedges and French Fries? And what are homestyle potatoes? Honestly, they are all pretty much the same thing! The only difference is in how they are chopped up.

Potato wedges are cut into wedges. They have a crispy skin and soft, steamy inside. French Fries are cut into long, thin stick shapes. Homestyle potatoes are diced or cut into larger cubes. Homestyle potatoes are often fried in a skillet and served at breakfast, just like hash browns.

Potato wedges and French fries are either baked, air fried, or deep fried.

These are my families “go-to” potatoes now! We adjust the cayenne as they are VERY spicy and not all of us want so much spice. They come out great every time!
